Mammography

Suitable for women over 40 years old.

Mammography is an effective tool for breast cancer detection.

The breasts are compressed at different angles to produce x ray images.  Although it may be uncomfortable, the full process is very quick. It can detect microcalcifications, architectural distortions and irregular masses.

It is commonly done together with ultrasound.

Ultrasound

Ultrasound is a high-frequency sound wave (no radiation), much higher than the range that humans can hear. It can penetrate skin and soft tissues.

Ultrasound is safe and painless.  It can create images of solid organs such as the liver, gallbladder, pancreas, kidney, uterus, ovaries, and breasts.

Fine Needle Aspiration(FNA) / Breast biopsy

If your doctor identifies suspicious lesions in mammogram, tissue sampling would be recommended for further investigation.

Fine Needle Aspiration (FNA):
The doctor uses a fine needle to directly puncture the breast to take cells, just like taking blood.

Core Biopsy:
Core biopsy requires local anaesthetic, and a tiny incision wound. It can extract more tissue and can distinguish whether cancer cells are invasive or not.

DEXA Bone Density Test

Dual Energy X-ray Absorber, referred to as DEXA, is the quickest, and safest method for measuring bone density and diagnosing osteoporosis.

256 Slice Computed Tomography (CT)

Positron emission tomography (PET) combines positron scanning with computer technology. It not only detects early cancer lesions and assesses the extent of cancer spread but also aids in diagnosing cardiovascular and neurological diseases.

1.5T Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)

Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) uses a powerful magnetic field combined with computer technology to generate detailed multiplanar images of your body.

It is safe with no radiation.

Positron Emission Tomography-CT (PET–CT)

Positron Emission Tomography (PET) scanning is a type of nuclear medicine scan.  A small quantity of radioactive isotope is required to detect metabolic abnormalities and help detect tumors or metastasis.

Fibrotouch

FibroTouch® releases controllable TE (transient elastography) shear waves to liver tissue and uses high frequency signals to track and collect data. Data collected is then compared with the statistical data stored in the database to quantify and determine the extent of fatty liver or liver fibrosis.

General X Ray

X-Ray can penetrate different tissues in the body to produce images.

Uroflowmetry

This screening tool for urinary dysfunction includes the use of an uroflowmetry device, which depicts the continuous urinary flow rate values through a non-invasive process.

Suitable for symptoms such as slow urine flow, frequent urination, painful urination, or nocturia.

Hysterosalpingogram

To check whether the Fallopian tubes are blocked.

Hysterosalpingography (HSG) is performed by injecting contrast into the uterus. X-Ray images are then taken to diagnose whether the Fallopian tubes are patent or whether the uterus is structurally abnormal.

Blood Tests

Stable and accurate blood indexes can be detected through blood tests to help detect and diagnose diseases, achieving early detection and treatment.

Electrocardiography(ECG)

ECG is a diagnostic test that measures the electrical activity of the heart.

During an ECG, electrodes are placed on specific areas of the body, such as the chest, arms, and legs. These electrodes detect the electrical impulses generated by the heart as they contract and relaxes.
